Scheduling and Contact Information

Photography appointments can be scheduled online at hdrephoto.com, or directly with Dan via email, phone, or text at dan@hdrephoto.com or 760.820.2181. Once both parties have confirmed the date, time, and details, the appointment will be considered booked.

At the Shoot

The Client is responsible for ensuring an authorized representative is present at the shoot to provide input and approve the Photographer’s interpretation of the project. If no Client or Brokerage representative is available, the Photographer’s creative judgment will be considered final.

The Photographer will make reasonable efforts to remove small distractions such as litter cans or stray objects, but will not perform tasks such as making beds, washing dishes, or rearranging furniture. Properties must be cleaned and staged before the scheduled shoot.

All properties will be photographed as is. Client input is encouraged when determining the most effective way to showcase the property. In the absence of specific direction, the Photographer will rely on their professional expertise to capture it in the best possible way.

After the Shoot

For photos, once the images have been collected, the Photographer will perform digital retouching and deliver them within 24 hours of the shoot, unless otherwise specified. All images will be delivered at a minimum resolution of 5000 × 3333 pixels, suitable for web and print up to 16” x 20”. Higher-resolution images may be available upon request.

For video, once the footage has been captured, the Photographer will edit and deliver the final cut within 48 hours, unless otherwise specified. Standard delivery resolution is 1080p.

Delivery will be provided via a download link on the Photographer’s website, sent to the email addresses provided by the Client.

Cancellation, No-Show, and Inclement Weather Policy

If cancellation or rescheduling is necessary, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made within 24 hoursof a booked appointment are subject to a $50 Cancellation Fee.

If a Client is more than 30 minutes late to an appointment or if the Photographer is unable to access the property, the appointment will be considered a cancellation and will be billed at the full rate of the scheduled shoot. Every effort will be made to accommodate rescheduling.

In the event of inclement weather that prevents photography, the shoot will be rescheduled at the earliest available time at no additional charge.

Rights and Usage

All media created by Hi-Desert Photography (“Photographer”) remains the sole property of the Photographer and is not to be deemed ‘work for hire.’ Upon full payment, the Client and the Client’s parent company are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the media for marketing the specific property and for the Client’s self-promotion indefinitely.

Any usage of the media by third parties, including but not limited to architects, builders, stagers, designers, sellers, or buyers, is strictly prohibited without prior written approval from the Photographer. The license does not permitresale, sublicensing, or modification beyond basic cropping or resizing without consent. Unauthorized use outside of the granted license constitutes copyright infringement and is subject to legal action.

The only credit line associated with the images shall be “Hi-Desert Photography.”

Payment

Hi-Desert Photography will provide an invoice detailing all photography fees, which will be emailed to the Client upon completion of the project.

Payment must be made in full before the media can be downloaded. The invoice will be linked directly to the download site, allowing payment to be completed before access is granted.

Accepted payment methods include cash, check, ACH electronic transfer, major credit cards, Venmo, and Apple Pay. Checks should be mailed to:
